Panhandle Tex Mex has been established since 1995 and is situated at 145 Thompson Avenue, Cowes (next to Island surf shop).
The current owners are Troy Monk, Julie Macri and Joe & Kate Macri, having run the business since November 2008.

  
   

Julie and Kate are original Panhandlers both of whom worked in the restaurant when it first opened in 1995.

Joe has had 10 years of experience at Panhandles as a chef and has been the head chef since 2002.

  

 
   

Panhandle has:-

  • Happy Hour….and ½ is held every Friday starting at 5.30pm until 7pm,
  • A second round of Happy Hour between 9pm – 10pm Friday nights.
  • Large plasma Screen
  • Front and rear alfresco areas
  
 

Panhandle serves a mixture of Mexican and Texan food including:-

  • Fajitas
  • Burritos
  • Smoked country ribs
  • Smoked BBQ chicken wings and pork sausages
  • Nachos
  • Plus lots more!

*All dishes are served mild unless you’re game enough to order it hot!
We also have a ‘help yourself chilli bar’ with many hot sauces and chutney’s to choose from.
